The show is usually held in early July every year and exclusively opened for two
days to the Royal Horticultural Society and then open for several days to general
public ticket holders.
Every year the Palace also hosts a number of special events, including the Hampton
Court Palace Festival which was first held in 1993 and is just as popular today.
The concert celebrates the musical talents of many leading music artists and continues
as Palace tradition that was introduced by monarchs and nobility in the 16th and
17th century. Since this time the Palace has hosted concerts and entertainment in
the Base Court of the Palace.
